El Clasico 2017

El Clasico is the biggest known match in Spain. The game was on Sunday, April 23 in Santiago Barnabeu Stadium, Real Madrid’s home stadium. The final score was 2-3 Barcelona winning. Neymar wasn’t playing because he got a red card in the last game. Real Madrid scored first in the 28th minute by Casemiro then again in the 86th minute by James. Barcelona scored 2 goals 1 from Messi and one from Rakitic in the 73rd minute then when the score was 2-2 in the last 10 seconds of the game Messi scored an amazing goal that made them win the game in the 92nd minute.

Copa Del Rey

Copa Del Rey is a tournament that all the teams in Spain play. There are 83 teams in the tournament. Right now Barcelona is in 1st place and Real Madrid lost against Celta De Vigo and got out of the Tournament. Now they are in the Semi-Finals with four teams, Barcelona, Celta De Vigo, Atletico Madrid, and Alaves. I have seen many Copa Del Rey games and they are very interesting. The tournament was founded in 1903, Barcelona has won the 28 Copa Del Rey. This year it is the 115th annual Copa del Rey. They will play the finals in May 27 and I hope you will watch it.

Atletico Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao

On January 22 Atletico Madrid played against Athletic Bilbao. Yesterday Atletico Madrid played away and three minutes into the game Koke scored a goal on Athletic Bibao in the 3 minute of the game. Then Inigo Lekue equalized it and scored a goal in the 46th minute. Later in the 56th minute De Marcos scored a goal for Athletic Bibao. Barcelona vs VillaReal CF

On January 8, 2017 Barcelona played VillaReal. They are both very competitive and from Spain. VillaReal is a hard opponent and always plays well in games. Messi scored one amazing goal on them and they tried very hard and scored back. The game ended in a tie 1-1. Messi, Suarez, and Neymar were trying to win the Ballon d’or but Cristiano Ronaldo won it. Ballon d’or is a trophy for the player of the year. Barcelona plays with Real Sociedad on January 19. Barcelona is 3rd in the leader boards behind Sevilla and Real Madrid is 1st place.

Barcelona vs Real Sociedad

Barcelona played Real Sociedad yesterday. Barcelona was fortunate to draw 1-1 against Real Sociedad. Sadly one of Barcelona’s defenders Jordi Alba sprained his ankle in the game and bruised his fibula and knee. This Saturday is one of the biggest games in La Liga, Barcelona vs Real Madrid, also known as El Clasico. They play twice every year and Jordi Alba might not play in that game. Barcelona didn’t do so well in the game but they are training hard for El Clasico this Saturday, but Barcelona has a long way to go to win that game.

Real Madrid vs Leganes

Real Madrid played yesterday against Leganes. Real Madrid played home and did good in the game. They had a lot of possession and ended up winning 3-0. Bale a Welsh soccer player scored twice in that game and Alvaro Morata from Spain scored the last goal. Real Madrid played very good like they usually do and right now are 1st in the leader boards. They won many games and they are continuing to play good and score many goals throughout games. Real Madrid is trying their best to stay in 1st place but Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are right behind them.

Barcelona vs Valencia

Barcelona played Valencia this Saturday. Barcelona won 3-2 and they played away. Valencia was a hard team and they played well. Suarez scored two and Messi scored the winning penalty. I am going to write about Spanish soccer. There are many good teams and they have many good players. I will be writing about their top scorers, their best players, and many other things. I will also be talking about who won the games and which team scored the most. La Liga is located in Spain. Many of the teams in Spain play in other leagues and players are from different countries.
